Universal Parks and Resorts are seeking Singers, Actors and Dancers to join the international casts at Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Beijing in 2023!
Contracts being in early 2023 for up to 13 months in length.
Included in the contract is:
Salary paid in US Dollars (vary depending on role)
Return airfare

ACTORS:
MALE & FEMALE HOGWARTS STUDENTS
Male& female actors to serve as Hogwarts™ students and hosts for entertainment experiences in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™.
Must look and be able to portray high school age.
No taller than 170cm (5’7″ ft).
Must be able to speak English with a British accent.
Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
HOGWARTS PROFESSOR
Mature, strong actor to portray a quirky, bumbling, at times stern professor at Hogwarts in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™.
Playing age 30’s-60’s
Must be able to speak English with a British accent.
Will be required to learn and perform a Japanese and English script.
Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
CHOIR MASTER & TRIWIZARD PREFECT
Male actors to serve as Choir Master and host for the Frog Choir experience, as well as the Prefect and host for the Tri-Wizard Spirit Rally in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™.
Must look and be able to portray high school age.
Must have a sense of rhythm. Prior choir conducting experience a plus, but not required.
Must be able to speak English with a British accent.
Will be required to learn and perform a Mandarin/Japanese and English script.
Mandarin and/or Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
HOGWARTS EXPRESS CONDUCTOR
Strong actor with a commanding presence to portray The Conductor at the entrance to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™
Seeking jolly actors to portray a playing age of mid 30's and above.
Must be able to speak English with a British accent.
Will be required to learn and perform a Mandarin/Japanese and English script.
Mandarin and/or Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
WANDKEEPER AT OLLIVANDERS
Mature, strong actors to portray the knowledgeable Wandkeeper at Ollivanders™ Wand Shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™.
Seeking actors to portray a playing age of over 40.
Must be able to speak English with a British accent.
Will be required to learn and perform a Mandarin/Japanese and English script.
Mandarin and/or Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
PRINCE CHARMING
Male actor to play the self-loving, Prince Charming from the DreamWorks Animation Shrek franchise.
Must be able to portray an age range of 20-30.
Preferred height range 178cm-190cm (5’10’’-6’3’’ ft)
Strong acting ability a must. Singing and dancing skills a plus, but not required.
Will be required to learn and perform a Mandarin and English script.
Mandarin language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.

SILENT PHYSICAL COMEDIAN
Actors to portray famous silent screen star from the early 1900’s.
Must be able to portray an age range of 20-35.
Preferred height range 164cm-170cm (5’4’’-5’6’’ft)
Seeking comedic pantomime actors with strong improvisational and physical clowning skills to portray the super stars of the silent film era.
Will be required to perform a comedic physical scenario.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
PRINCESS FIONA
Sweet, beautiful and smart female actors to portray the pre-ogre Fiona from the DreamWorks Animation Shrek franchise.
Must be able to portray an age range of 18-25.
Strong acting ability a must. Singing and dancing skills a plus, but not required.
Mandarin and/or Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.

Cute, energetic cheerleader types. Strong dancers with singing experience.
Pop singers able to belt to a C#.
Preferably no taller than 165cm (5’5″ ft).
Performers will feature in the UNIVERSAL MONSTERS LIVE ROCK AND ROLL SHOW, a live, musical revue stage show located at Universal Studios Japan.

WOLFIE
Excitable, young male. Strong dancer with great youthful energy.
Pop Tenor who sings to a G and not afraid to howl at the moon.
Preferably no taller than 172cm (5’8” ft) in height.
Performers will feature in the UNIVERSAL MONSTERS LIVE ROCK AND ROLL SHOW, a live, musical revue stage show located at Universal Studios Japan.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
SINGERS:
ASH
Powerful, athletic female, Alto or Mezzo-Soprano rock ‘n’ roll singer who can belt to a D.
Height range 147-153cm (4’10”- 5’ ft).
Strong mover with good stamina.
Must be comfortable performing with makeup on and in a latex mask.
Rock and roller porcupine sings and dances her way through a live concert from Illumination’s SING, the blockbuster musical movie.
Performers may also appear in parades, seasonal and special shows, events and greetings.
FRANKENSTEIN
Smooth, cool lady charmer. Baritone pop singer and good mover.
Sings to an F with nice low tones and a strong falsetto.
Preferably no shorter than 183cm (6’ ft) in height.

BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN
Soulful, sassy and sexy female with a strong stage presence.
Alto or Soprano, with a strong belt up to C#.
Must be a strong mover.

Tall, athletic, Tenor male singer with contemporary pop-singing skills up to a G flat.
Height range 183cm-188cm (6’-6’2” ft).
Strong mover with good stamina.
Must be comfortable performing in a latex mask.
Soulful gorilla sings and dances his way through a live concert from Illumination’s SING, the blockbuster musical movie.

MALE SINGERS / VARIOUS STYLES & ROLES
Male Singers who are comfortable with various styles of singing including one or more of the following: Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, Pop-ballad and Latin.
Must be strong movers.
Mandarin and/or Japanese language fluency/experience a plus, but not required.
Also seeking Tenor and Bass choral singers who can play high school age. Vocal percussion skills a plus but not a requirement.

WATERWORLD - HELEN
thletic and petite female stunt performer with acting skills with excellent upper body strength.
Acting, boating and stunt experience preferred.
Must be able to swim, and be comfortable with heights, working with an audience, and around various types of pyro-technics and special effects.

WATERWORLD - JET SKIER & SMOKER #7
Strong male stunt performer with acting skills.
Must be able to swim, have excellent jet ski driver skills, along with the ability to tow a water skier.
Must be comfortable with heights, working with an audience, and around various types of pyro-technics and special effects.
Must be prepared to learn a 20-foot fall, hand to hand fight skills and weapons handling.

WATERWORLD - MARINER AND ATOLLER #1
Must be an expert jet skier with an heroic look.
Acting and stunt experience preferred.
Must be able to swim, and be comfortable with heights, working with an audience, and around various types of pyro-technics and special effects.

WATERWORLD - WATER SKIER & SMOKER #8
Must have water skiing and boat driving skills.
Acting and stunt experience preferred.
Must be able to swim, and be comfortable with heights, working with an audience, and around various types of pyro-technics and special effects.

WATERWORLD - VERNON (SMOKER 6)
At 180cm tall, he is an imposing figure and is the Deacon’s enforcer.
Acting, boat driving and stunt experience is preferred.
Must be comfortable with heights, working with an audience, and around various types of pyro-technics and special effects.

DURMSTRANG STUDENTS
Strong athletic males with advanced gymnastics, stage combat and stunt fighting skills.
Must look and be able to portray high school age to perform as the student of the Durmstrang Institutes within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™.

VIOLINISTS
Seeking Violinists to perform within our Violin featured show.
Violinists should have strong entertaining skills and be comfortable with performing various styles on an electric violin.
Strong movement skills a plus but not a requirement.
